What People
SAY
“ I think the ultimate canvas for creativity is your life. You have one life. The test helped me paint a very clear picture of the conflicts in my life. I learned I was putting more restrictions on myself than I realized.
I was not pushing rules in my creativity."
Deb Galant
Painter, Novelist, Podcaster, Former NYT columnist
I did all these assessments and I do not think I would have finished the first draft of my book without finding these things out about my process.
For me, it just gave me an insight into my process that I don't think I would have come upon myself at all.
And I would have done my usual habit, which is, get very enthusiastic, and then put it aside when I get to my roadblock and say:
"I'll get to that later."
Kathy Butterfield
Memoirist, Teacher
Something shifted when we went through the evaluation. I came away with a different appreciation for my strengths and a better understanding of my weaknesses and how to approach projects differently.

Virtual Retreat
We'll be spending a lot of time together - granted, talking about you, one of your favorite topics - so, I want you to know, I'm an energetic, empathetic, and approachable presenter. I've spoken at writer's conferences, presented in business settings, and hosted a network podcast for 2 years.
We're going to have fun.
Oct 22/Friday Evening 4-6pm PACIFIC Time - we'll do some fun activities as a warm up and to begin to see who we are, creatively. And we'll take necessary assessments (about ten minutes each.)
Oct 23/Saturday 9am-5pm PT - we'll dedicate one session to each of the three assessments, and finish with time to reflect on our new knowledge.
A week later/Written in-depth report
You will get a full, detailed report of all your test results and interpretation.
In the next two weeks/We'll talk.
This will be prime YOU-time. You get a sounding board, a new direction, clarity, ideas - whatever you need to get your writing back on track. Individual sessions are 30 minutes, and scheduled by you.
3 Creativity Assessments & Fees Included
Each of these bona fide, time-tested, scientifically reliable assessments tests your creativity in a different way. And together, they provide a robust, 360-degree view of how your own creative brain works - and why it sometimes doesn't. All three exams are delivered to your inbox, and we take them together on the first night of the retreat.
